On this occasion Minister Mrs. Ferial Ashraff, expressing her views said at a moment, dawn of peace after three decades of conflicts, soldiers who have contributed to achieve this honorable task should be honored.  It is the duty of the society to pay tribute for them instead of merely limiting to functions to honour them.  Those who have benefited by the dawn of peace should contribute towards this task to make future life of brave soldiers happy.  She further pointed out that the NHDA with the assistance of private sector has launched the Ranavuru Housing Programme to achieve this objective.  Mrs. Ferial Ashraff, further pointed out that it is an essential duty by us to complete this housing programme in a short period of time and hand over the houses to Ranaviru families.
