The 15th model village named "Devanapatisgama" in Moragoda, Thalawa, Anuradhapura was declared open by the Minister of Housing and Construction Hon. Sajith Premadasa today (16.11.2016). The model village consists of 26 housing units and pipe borne water facilities, electricity and internal access roads. Conferment of home ownership for 26 families in "Devanapatisgama" model village, grant of cement for 700 beneficiaries and provision of financial assistance for 450 beneficiaries under Sampath Sevana Loan Programme as well were events of the opening ceremony of the model village.
