"Obata Geyak-Ratata Hetak" The inaugural ceremony of the 2022 Hambantota District National Housing Program was held today at the Tangalle Municipal Council Hall under the patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.Granting Housing Assistance Checks amounting to Rs. 388.200 million to 588 beneficiaries under the "Oba Geyak - Ratata Hetak" Housing Scheme, Giving checks amounting to Rs. 12.615 million to 24 beneficiaries under the Sevana Housing Assistance Program, 14 beneficiaries under the Mihindu Niwana Housing Program 7.100 million housing assistance checks were handed over at the event.
This is being implemented by the National Housing Development Authority under the State Ministry of Rural Housing and Construction and Building Material Industry Promotion.
